The Vision of Lodovico Antinori
Founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori, Ornellaia was created with a singular missionto rival the great Bordeaux wines of France. Inspired by the Super Tuscan success of his cousin Piero Antinori (creator of Tignanello), Lodovico chose Bolgheri as his base for innovation.
