From Hydroponic Garden to Salad Dressing Business: The Genesis

De La Lita is a brand from Thailand that began simply from growing hydroponic vegetables in the family garden and crafting special salad dressings to enjoy with them. The brand name is derived from Khun Lalita, the owner and creator of all the dressing recipes. She initially shared her homemade dressings with family and friends, and after everyone tasted them, they were instantly hooked, encouraging her to sell these delicious dressings to a wider audience.

The First Step into Health Food: Home Fresh Hydrofarm

Before becoming a full-fledged brand, Khun Lalita started by opening a health food restaurant called Home Fresh Hydrofarm in 2011. The bottled dressings sold at the restaurant proved incredibly popular, with sales reaching up to 2,000 bottles per month, demonstrating immense demand. These dressings were special because they were made with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients from around the world, adhering to a commitment to use authentic ingredients free from artificial additives and preservatives. They also incorporated healthy fats from olive oil, resulting in a rich, flavorful, and genuinely healthy product.

The Birth of De La Lita and the Expansion of Healthy Product Lines

The success of the in-store sales led to the establishment of a company in 2013, along with the official launch of the De La Lita brand. Bottled dressings were then distributed to various supermarkets, making these delicious dressings accessible to people nationwide. Following the dressings popularity, the brand began to develop new products, staying true to its philosophy of health and taste.

De La Lita's core concept and goal are to sustainably elevate consumption quality with healthy food that is, above all, delicious. This vision eventually led to their first snack product: Whole Wheat Chips. These baked crisps are made from whole wheat grains, rich in fiber, and low in fat, quickly becoming the brands signature snack. Currently, Whole Wheat Chips are available in 7 flavors: Original, Sour Cream, Smoky BBQ, Grilled Sweet Corn, Larb Zaap, Tomato, and Crab Curry. The Original flavor can also be enjoyed with De La Litas salad dressings for an enhanced and versatile taste experience.

Subsequently, De La Lita continued to create various other snacks, including baked seaweed and fish chips, as well as baked crisps made from a range of healthy ingredients such as almonds, corn, green peas, and puffed rice. All these snacks are free from trans fats, MSG, and preservatives. Additionally, the brand offers high-protein granolas, as well as convenient ready-to-eat foods like soups and sauces. In all its products, De La Lita consistently balances health benefits with appealing flavors, allowing consumers to indulge in delicious food with peace of mind.
